Exact Assembly, founded in 2013, is a technical consulting group located in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA. We specialize in helping clients take novel ideas from the drawing-board to the physical world.

Our Team

Our team of engineers and production specialists have decades of experience designing embedded systems, deploying mission-critical software, and perfecting electronics hardware manufacturing in a wide array of applications:

  • Industrial systems in factories
  • Medical systems in laboratories and point-of-care
  • Military systems in harsh environments

Beyond Design

Design is only one part of the equation. Even the best ideas and most elegant solutions must have solid execution when it comes to manufacturing.

We’ve been working with Colorado and US-based suppliers for just as long, and we use their services along with aiding our partners to update their production tooling and processes:

  • SMT assembly and production
  • Inventory management systems
  • Bill-of-Materials controls
  • Relationships with key distributors

Staying Ahead

With our depth of understanding the modern complexity of supply-chains, and accelerating state of the art technologies including LLMs/AI, our clients have gained a crucial competitive edge—both from our services, and through training and evangelizing the most promising new options for product development.

Our Promise

If you have an idea, we can help you apply the tools to break down barriers between:

  • When an idea is formed
  • When it becomes a completed design
  • When it becomes a fully realized object you can hold in your hand

We’re building the future, here.

Theodore “Ted” Vaida

Founder & Chief Technology Officer

For over 30 years Ted has been coding on whatever platform is available and needed, designing the necessary electronics to connect software to the physical world, and solving complex systems integration issues to ensure that electrical and electronic products work for customer applications.

His experience spans user-focused technical support to Field Applications Engineering, UNIX/Linux and RTOS kernel level development to front-end applications in iOS and web frameworks, Printed Circuit Board design and manufacturing to adapting off-the-shelf products in rapid prototyping, and digital design from primitive hand-drawn logic gates to multi-million gate ASIC products requiring simulation and analysis.

Ted holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
